Innebandy and Miracles

Hejsan!

This week was good. We had some miracles, and got to visit a bunch of members that are hard to get in contact with.

We had some good lessons:

- Went through the Word of Wisdom with our friend *Pete and he took it really well.

- Read in Alma 32 with *Mont AND had an awesome member (who just barely moved into the ward) tag along. They both have backgrounds with the Islam faith, so it was really powerful to have our member from Turkey testify about our church and the beautiful doctrines we have.

Also:

- knocked on a door, and the lady who opened it screamed.

- went on the street and had a Swedish guy ask me if he could "take up his argument against god" to me. I said yes, and we had a great conversation.

- had our first sports activity, and played innebandy and badminton. Truly not the most popular sports in my head, but they're pretty big here in Sweden so those were the requests.

- skipped church because Sys Rollins wasn't feeling well. Was a strange feeling not to be there !

I have 6 weeks left now, and it feels weird!!

Everything Cancelled

Tjena! Everything cancelled this week. Oops. That's alright. Literally everyone is sick it feels like! Whatcha gonna do. We spent quite a bit of time on the street, and... - gave out two Book of Mormons in a Arabic! - gave out a Book of Mormon in Ukrainian! - accidentally met a homeless man with no teeth that had recently thrown up and was gnawing on a rotisserie chicken wing. It was a little traumatizing to be honest💀 - met a man who tried to recruit us into joining his pyramid scheme - took a selfie with a woman from Cambodia who wanted a picture with Americans We also: - spent an hour trying to match up three huge bags of socks #service - had a game night, and failed to teach some Sri Lankan men how to play UNO - found a disgusting bug in our butter - read 3 Nephi 11 with our friend and it was awesome - went on Splits with the Örebro sisters! End of an Era

Hej! This past week has been great. As always, we've seen miracles. And weird things, too! But I'm just absolutely filled with gratitude to be a servant of the Lord. Especially this past week, for some reason. This week we: -had an awesome lesson with a young Father, who's just trying to mend his relationship with God. Very pure. - taught our friend *Anna and her 18 year-old son about prayer. - made breakfast and watched general conference with our members and our friends on Sunday morning. #swedishvåfflor - gave out a Book of Mormon in Persian to a sweet old lady who tried to speak Persian to us for like 10 minutes. - got to have a great lesson with our friend *Marianne, and she had a lot of great questions about conference. - got to eat some homemade rulltårta with one of our friends and his family. Very cute. - had in-person distriktsråd and the Elders made us lunch. It was like a finish version of baked macaroni and cheese. - fi...

A fever and a new comp

Tjena! What a week. It was Kaos. We: - ran around so that Syster Yoachum could say goodbye to everyone before leaving - had hot chocolate and walnuts with our friend *Matt - had transfers - got sick **bonus points, I had a fever and felt AWFUL on transfer day so I stayed home at the apartment to sleep and break my fever before my new companion came to the area. #apostate **extra bonus points, my voice sounds like a grandma who has smoked for like 60 years - did a bunch of street contacting - put our friend *Anna on date for baptism at the end of September!!! She's come to church 4 times now and she has such a pure soul. Love her. My new companion is Syster Jaques, (pronounced like Jakes), and she's great! I think we'll have a fun transfer. Yay!
