Temporary Trio

This week was fun, and bizarre. Because of the way transfers worked out, we have lovely Syster Bryson staying with us for a week before transfers happen. So we picked up a third companion on Friday! #funsies 

In other transfers news, I will be getting a new companion this Thursday, and staying here in Jakobsberg! It'll be good. 

This week we:
- went finding and met some new people 
- got multiple slices of cheese stuck to our windshield
- met and taught our friend *Anna, who has come to church THREE times now ! We gave her a Book of Mormon, and she was SO grateful. AND she brought her son AND her daughter with her to church yesterday. We love her. 
- Got quite a few referrals, actually--which is sweet. We're hoping to meet with them this week.
- received 5 packages of beans as a gift #score 
- attended the baptism of a woman that me and Syster Prendergast taught in Gubbängen, and it was AWESOME. She is so sweet, and has a strong testimony of God's love for her.

The work that we do is hard sometimes. But it's SO worth it. It changes lives, and it brings hope.

Everything Cancelled

  Tjena!  Everything cancelled this week. Oops. That's alright. Literally everyone is sick it feels like! Whatcha gonna do. We spent quite a bit of time on the street, and... - gave out two Book of Mormons in a Arabic! - gave out a Book of Mormon in Ukrainian! - accidentally met a homeless man with no teeth that had recently thrown up and was gnawing on a rotisserie chicken wing. A fever and a new comp

Tjena! What a week. It was Kaos.  We: - ran around so that Syster Yoachum could say goodbye to everyone before leaving  - had hot chocolate and walnuts with our friend *Matt  - had transfers  - got sick **bonus points, I had a fever and felt AWFUL on transfer day so I stayed home at the apartment to sleep and break my fever before my new companion came to the area. #apostate **extra bonus points, my voice sounds like a grandma who has smoked for like 60 years - did a bunch of street contacting  - put our friend *Anna on date for baptism at the end of September!!! She's come to church 4 times now and she has such a pure soul. Love her.  My new companion is Syster Jaques, (pronounced like Jakes), and she's great! I think we'll have a fun transfer.  Yay! End of an Era

  Hej!  This past week has been great. As always, we've seen miracles. And weird things, too! But I'm just absolutely filled with gratitude to be a servant of the Lord. Especially this past week, for some reason. This week we: -had an awesome lesson with a young Father, who's just trying to mend his relationship with God. Very pure.  - taught our friend *Anna and her 18 year-old son about prayer.  - made breakfast and watched general conference with our members and our friends on Sunday morning. #swedishvåfflor  - gave out a Book of Mormon in Persian to a sweet old lady who tried to speak Persian to us for like 10 minutes.  - got to have a great lesson with our friend *Marianne, and she had a lot of great questions about conference.  - got to eat some homemade rulltårta with one of our friends and his family. Very cute.  - had in-person distriktsråd and the Elders made us lunch. It was like a finish version of baked macaroni and cheese.  - fi...
