Cross Jewlery ftw

Another week down!

This week was kind of a blurr.

There was one day where we were running from appointment to appointment and had no time for lunch. So we ended up taking a long dinner and buying a pizza. It was awesome. It was a tryffel pizza. I liked it.

We were able to find a lot of new people to teach, and it's crazy to think about how we can be so perfectly placed to meet the exact right people at the exact right time.
Earlier in the week, we hopped on a tunnelbana to talk to people, and met a woman who is from Ukraine. We noticed her because she had HUGE bejeweled cross earrings, and got her number! We were then able to teach her about Jesus Christ and the Book of Mormon with a member who translated it into Russian. Super cool.

We also taught a boy that Syster Bagley and I met in the mall two weeks ago--because we had noticed his cross necklace! #christianmoment

Other notable events:
- We met with David, who got baptized several weeks ago, and he was very upset that people sometimes call us "Mormons." He kept saying, "It's not Mormon's church, its Christ's church! Mormon is the book!" #youtell'em
- We had some students visit the church to see what a worship service looks like, and it happened to be a Sunday where the organist was absent. So one of the other missionaries struggled to play the piano while we sang every hymn VERY slowly. Haha. But we met with them afterwards and got to answer their questions, which was fun.
- Made chocolate banana bread.
- A lot of people guessed that I'm from Ukraine?
- Our sink broke.

God is real. Christ lives. Have a good week!

Salt Lake City Swag

HallĂĄ everyone! This past week was pretty awesome. I still have no news of when I'm going to Sweden, but I assume it'll be at the end of this transfer. So three more weeks! (Probably.)  One of many miracles: Last Tuesday, me and Sister Hendrix were going to go bother a less active family that lives in an apartment complex nearby. We knocked, but they weren't home/didn't answer the door.  A couple doors down the hall though, there was a little boy standing outside and staring at us. So I walked over to him, and asked if his parents were home. He stared at me in fear for a couple of seconds, but then disappeared into the room--sending his mom to the door.  She invited us inside, and expressed how she felt like her faith has been lacking lately, and she doesn't know what she's doing in her life.  We shared a little bit about the plan of Salvation with her, and she told us that the past couple days she had been praying for God to send her a sign that he knows her...
