General Conference!

 Hej everyone!

As many of you know, this week was the week leading up to general conference, where we hear from the modern-day prophet and his apostles. Which means that we spent a huge majority of the week focusing on inviting ALL of our friends to watch it.

There's something powerful about hearing from real, dedicated, servants of the Lord. And it's important for everyone to have that chance!

But amidst all of this, was a lot of chaos. Good chaos, mostly. But chaos!
- It felt like we needed to sprint to catch almost every bus and every tunnelbana we took.
- We had a long, two hour lesson about the Gospel of Jesus Christ In a Wayne's Coffee--and by the end of the lesson, the guy we were teaching said he would like to be baptized! We're not sure if he really knew what he was agreeing to, but I guess that's why following up with people is important. So we'll see!
- We gave an impromptu presentation about our religion to 6 high school students for about two hours and it was actually really fun! They had great questions.
- A lot of the people I tried to talk to on public transportation couldn't speak English or Swedish--which often turned into a broken conversation through Google translate. Or awkward smiling.
- Right when we thought spring was almost here we got like 8 inches of snow. Tough.
- We burnt our tongues really badly.
- We watched the first session of General Conference with the young women in our congregation.
- As a companionship we went through 13 bananas.

It was a good week. A little tiring, but always good.

Hope all is well!

Salt Lake City Swag

HallĂĄ everyone! This past week was pretty awesome. I still have no news of when I'm going to Sweden, but I assume it'll be at the end of this transfer. So three more weeks! (Probably.)  One of many miracles: Last Tuesday, me and Sister Hendrix were going to go bother a less active family that lives in an apartment complex nearby. We knocked, but they weren't home/didn't answer the door.  A couple doors down the hall though, there was a little boy standing outside and staring at us. So I walked over to him, and asked if his parents were home. He stared at me in fear for a couple of seconds, but then disappeared into the room--sending his mom to the door.  She invited us inside, and expressed how she felt like her faith has been lacking lately, and she doesn't know what she's doing in her life.  We shared a little bit about the plan of Salvation with her, and she told us that the past couple days she had been praying for God to send her a sign that he knows her...
