A Week Survived

Hejsan!

This week had quite a few difficulties. Can't lie.
And that doesn't mean that it was unsuccessful, it doesn't mean that we failed, but it DOES mean that character was built.

That being said, here's a little glimpse of our series of unfortunate events:
- Our little family couldn't get baptized yesterday.
- A phone was lost--BUT THEN FOUND. So that was good.
- A lesson we were psyched for ended up canceling last minute.
- Many other lessons canceled.
- A homeless guy kissed my hand.

But there were also good times!
- We went on Splits with the Systers in Malmö, which was fun!
- We gave out 3 Book of Mormons on the street.
- We got to teach ANOTHER religion class at a high school, which was fun, and gave out like 6 Book of Mormons after that as well!
- We bought a devils food cake mix, which is hard to come by here in Sweden, and ate it. It tasted SO American. It was great.
- We got ice cream at a cute little shop here in Lund that makes it from scratch.
- We went to Helsingborg for pday today, and recreated some iconic statues.

All is well!

I don't have much time, but here's a quick scripture I really like!
Moroni 7:41:
"And what is it that ye shall hope for? Behold I say unto you that ye shall have hope through the atonement of Christ and the power of his resurrection, to be raised unto life eternal, and this because of your faith in him according to the promise."

We can always rely on Christ, and have hope through Him!

Salt Lake City Swag

Hallå everyone! This past week was pretty awesome. I still have no news of when I'm going to Sweden, but I assume it'll be at the end of this transfer. So three more weeks! (Probably.)  One of many miracles: Last Tuesday, me and Sister Hendrix were going to go bother a less active family that lives in an apartment complex nearby. We knocked, but they weren't home/didn't answer the door.  A couple doors down the hall though, there was a little boy standing outside and staring at us. So I walked over to him, and asked if his parents were home. He stared at me in fear for a couple of seconds, but then disappeared into the room--sending his mom to the door.  She invited us inside, and expressed how she felt like her faith has been lacking lately, and she doesn't know what she's doing in her life.  We shared a little bit about the plan of Salvation with her, and she told us that the past couple days she had been praying for God to send her a sign that he knows her...
